In order to touch up on a subject I feel has been completely forgotten a say a spar revamp is in order. All we were given was some more spar arenas and a little polish to the old one down by BBZ. Therefore, i propose a few ideas.

1. A spar tournament: Something like 16 man spar which brings a new sense of excitement. A prize would be given to the victor as well as a statue stating they have won the tournament which will be changed for every tournament.
2. A betting system: I know this is from Era PC but the ideas is great anyways. Each player would wager a certain item, graalat, etc as the winnings. It gives people an incentive to get better at sparring and may enjoy profitting from playing at the same time.
3. New gang spar: The gang spars in this game are absolutely horrible, as up to 10 people may be packed into the same sized spar room as regular spars. People just shoot and hope to win as luck seems to be the only factor in this as it is very difficult to avoid bullets.
4. Spar prizes: Certain amount of wins gains access to certain items or tournament wins stacks up points redeemable for prizes. Pretty much EC if you wanna call it that.


- This isnt really a 'spar' but it replaces the gang aspect of the gang spar.

Gang battles: Custom maps that include 2-3 bases which 4 gangs must fight to gain a specific amount of holding time, i.e. 10-30 minutes. Best time wins or last loses, whatever works better.
KOTH: Yeah i'm not gonna say anything about this since this is pretty the same thing that I said above.

So basically the hope of these new features/revamps are to popularize sparring as only a small community seem to enjoy it.

Please post Feedback on other features you would like to see or contribute to the list. Criticism for ideas is welcome as well.  

Love the betting idea, which will bring back sparing Hopefully the Gang Battles will take place in iEra. Great ideas  

Thanks for the input, I see the Gang battles as either joined in an event house or something that you queue up for at a building specific to the battles. The battles would yearn prizes and rewards and would have different objectives for each battle. I know this has nothing to do with spars but it gives gangs more to do than just sit on their butts in a base all day.  

Gang Spars should be bigger I think.  

Another good idea I brought to snk's attention was, " Everytime you win a spar/gang spar, you recive a spar coin! Once you collect 1000 spar coins, you can then spend the coins on signs. "As in PC Era". Saying " I suck at spar" or something silly like that! And aswell for the gang spar coins, your gang can upload a custom sign with it's name of the gang on the sign! " All members will recive one".  

Good idea FaZ3 . It's nice to see someone else who wishes for the sparring system to be updated

1: Excellent idea. They do that in classic somewhat. It turned out very well.
2: This betting system plan would definitely make a lot of the better players get up and actually get better in order to win i believe. I wouldn't do it because my hand to eye coordination is completely horrible.
3: I've only played one gang spar, but now i remember why it's only 1. I agree completely with your statement on this mainly because it's true. Only way to do it now, is not really sparring but quite literally wreak havoc in the city fighting gang to gang. Not really fair, but whoever runs away first loses. xD I dunno. I'm a nerd.
4: Spar prizes would be a little taken advantage of in my opinion, especially if you got EC for it. I believe it would cause a huge problem, so maybe make it more money than you'd win at an event, but not EC. Not only that, but you could even make a different kind of coin for different weapons, called like Spar Coins.

Either way, I really like some of these points you've made and i'd be glad to see them implemented for players in era. It seems that'd definitely make spar players happy.  

I see how the gang spar for prizes might be abused but getting a certain amount of wins unlocking some sort of prize would still be cool, not just saying a black recolor of the communicator rofl. Thanks for the feedback

People would boost in it. If this idea does go through, there would have to be a limit on how many coins you are allowed to win per person you face. For example, say Mye Mama verse Joe Mama.. Mye Mama beats Joe Mama 10 times. Mye Mama should only get 5 coins because if this kept going on, Mye Mama would have so many coins, and that would be outrageous. Just an addition to your idea.  

I see what you are saying but this is just to serve as a general idea on what i feel should be done, snk or whoever would do the fine tuning as i'm sure they are capable enough to figure out what to and not do. This isn't meant to be an offense if you take this as one.

I have a crazy idea... How about prizes being awarded to the gang who wins a certain number of battles in a row? I'd like to see this as well for regular spar. SPAR STREAK! And yes, I agree... Gang arena need to be much bigger. I want to feel as if I'm on a small moon instead of being in a crowded cell.
