Graaloween - 2013
With Halloween just around the corner, Graal Classic has just a little more than a week's time to surprise the player's! I think there's still room for contribution and feedback for this year's Graaloween, seeing as it is one of the more popular holidays' to be celebrated on Graal. This thread's general purpose is to give your feedback, anticipations, ideas, and anything else regarding Graaloween. With that being said, I'll go on ahead and list my current thoughts. Deadwood Deadwood is a Halloween based town that has seen some major changes over the duration of this year. The previous Halloween quest expansions have been removed, and a large chunk of Deadwood (bat caves, cave maze, pumpkin patch) have been severed off, thus making this town a run-down version of its original self. I want to see a Halloween update in Deadwood, and I'm not just talking about the opening of Club Crypt, no, no. An exclusive Graalloween quest, or a boss monster maybe? I mean, this town is like the epitome of Halloween on Graal.. What are your anticipations/thoughts for this upcoming Graaloween? |

Id like to see a quest similar to the one with the maze and where you had to go around trying to find different body parts... I think. Obviously different though. Like Xerxes said, it be cool to have a boss baddie or waves of different halloween creatures that drop certain items. Which can be given to a witch for here brew or something.

I thought that the candy dropping ghosts and minor tileset alterations last time were nice, but that the real draw (that everyone STILL talks about when you use it) was the witch's broom, which I hope that they will bring back this year for one or two days. Also, I would like to see some new content released, and this is anticipation based on the hints and cues that have been sprinkled here and there in the forum... supposedly the calendar date to watch is the 25th

I liked trick or treat game. Although I didn't prepare for it. I and bobby hunt candies for few hours last year and we got bunch of hats from it. It was pretty fun.

The idea of developing quests for specific days/weeks of the year is a waste. We don't even have regular quests that you can do all-year-round yet. In my opinion, holidays should have the same event every year, but with a different prize and the obvious shop restock of new items. It'd be more traditionalist, true to life, and doesn't require the attention of all of the staff on the team every time it comes up. Whether Halloween has that 'quality' attraction yet, I don't know, but I am personally uninspired when it comes to this holiday.

Yeah that would be cool, a morpheme for Halloween that does something. My cousin has really old Morphes. He's an admin also. Idk all of them but my favorite is the Yeti he has.

I enjoyed last years way of Graal-o-ween, it was fun and it was smooth and quick. It gave me a lot of surprises and I'm glad its all about to happen again
