Not many people know about Graal because it isnt talked about much outside of the community. Even myself, had to get used to Graal before being able to tell other people about it and the App store summary is misleading. It would be popular if people could easily learn how to play it and had a deep understanding of the game; instead of the summary that is supposed to appeal to the common player. Overall, I do enjoy the game though. ![]() |

I think it's because there isn't much advertising, and there aren't many hard-core gaming things to do. Classic is more for hanging out, and Era and Zone kind of make graal more full-on, but not by much. Besides, there isn't much emphasis on storyline or PvP/monster killing. One of my favourite MMO's is Eden Eternal. I play this often because there are practically monsters everywhere and you can duel players, do dungeons with parties, have guild wars, there are so many classes to choose from it's not funny, and there is a storyline/questline! Out of these things, graal doesn't have: -duels (spar doesn't count. This is where you propose a duel, the other person says yes, and you fight in the area you proposed the duel in) -monsters to fight everywhere(yes, there are baddies in Classic but...) -A storyline (no servers have this!) -Quests. These are what I hop onto EE for. -dungeons -Parties I kinda got off topic.... |

I'm pretty sure the reason no one ever wants to ask if someone plays Graal lies within the fact that Graal is a very social game. When you're talking to someone IRL, it's probably a little weird to bring up Graal because of how casual and interactive the game is. It's more of an interactive chat room than a game, and you can't deny that everyone who plays the game eventually makes friends within the game, etc. That's probably a little awkward to consider, and maybe that's why people don't talk about it. Maybe not, just a theory. "Hey, have you played Graal?" "No, what's that?" "A game where you can chat with other people and swing your sword a lot, but mostly a game where you hang around with online friends." "Cool." Then they never talk to you again. |
