guild truces
Guild truces are one of the most annoying pointless things in all of classic. Every time my guild truces with another guild the other guild ends up attacking us anyways. If your recruiting noobs or don't bother to tell your leads and if they never read gn to know your in a truce then whats the point of making one? Guild leaders need to do a better job to make sure there leads are informed when they make a new truce. Or you will see retaliation and your truce will not last. Has anybody been in a guild where a truce was in place that actually worked? I'm a big believer in DTA don't trust anybody. The other problem with truces is getting blocked from taking certain towers if the guild your in a truce with currently occupies a tower or several. What i mean is this idk how many times my guild will be attempting to take a tower, and are truce guild shows up and starts attacking getting in the way and eventually takes the tower before we can then what do you do? just sit there till they lose it and waste valuable time you could be getting as tower time, or try and continue to fail at taking another stronger tower from another guild that has more defenders than attackers. I just think truces are to big of a head ache and useless I see unspoken truces from guilds that respect each other and dont generally attack each other out of respect but dont have an actual truce and can still freely attack each other if the need arises. btw never truce with SON they will turn on you and noob swarm and take your tower with out any chance they get if they see it as the weakest/easist tower to take atm. I also find it fun to make bomb runs in the castle flag room and blow as many members of SON up as possible before i get pkd. |

that guild truces suck and are pointless. My guild leader makes them with some guild and the guild we are supposed to be truced with always ends up attacking us. so i just stopped following them and just attack where ever anyways. IMO truces don't work
