An ad I made for school

I am fully aware it's strange because it's a spoon ad, but thoughts on the design?

(I've actually made a fake ad for school for a product relating to this where I aimed to rip off an Apple iPad ad, but it was an All New Spoon instead. This is the third product made by Spoon Incorporated, the first being the Bowled Utensil [complete failure], the second the All New Spoon, and now the Spoon 3. I even have a backstory for the CEO, Charles Selleck, sort of)

Well it's funny, but are you sure your teacher won't think you're messing around?
I did something similar and got into trouble because they thought I was.

I like what you're doing with the typography, great color choices as well. I feel like you have a few great ideas, but the design itself needs to be more dynamic. Perhaps if the spoon art was flipped to the bottom right side, and you turned the pink and brown lines at a slight diagonal towards bottom left edges? I also find the spacing between 'cats are fun/sideways is fun' and 'spleens are fun. rulers are fun. . .' a little funny as well; though I can't think of any specific ways to fix it o: My thoughts, anyhow

I am messing around. But I am also doing exactly what I need to do and more, and am perfectly behaved as well as getting nothing below an A. (wow, that's pretty much the most vain thing I've said in my life). She can't complain.

I agree, I still think the whole "...are fun" bit looks off. I like having the sideways and stuff, but it looks weird. I'll look at making it diagonal, this is due tomorrow

latte I tried the diagonal strip, but I can't organize it so all the text fits

. It looks a lot better, the text just doesn't fit, and there's heaps of extra pink space.

I still think the condense picture is neat. It's short, sweet, to the point, and leaves you wanting more information on the subject.
