So, you may have heard of these a while ago. They have undergone a serious rehaul. Since the version that got popular, bump mapping, parallax illusions, reflections, and god rays have been added. Not to mention that its been optimized to run faster. The game looks absolutely fantastic now, sure minecraft is not about graphics, but its still nice looking and worth noting.

Well I meant a link to the forum or wherever this came from, not necessarily a direct link. As a texture pack maker I don't like when people adfly my work when even I don't; I mean I clicked it anyways, but I like to check out the source. I had to hunt around on google to properly get it all set up.

Oh, sorry for the misinterpretation. I linked the wrong file. My Copy and paste bin is incredibly annoying, and sometimes it doesn't copy links correctly. (you have to press down notably hard on 'ctrl' for it to actually work). There was a whole pack that included Magic Launcher, Sonic Ether's shaders, and some instructions that was supposed to be uploaded instead. Not that texture pack. I need a new keyboard, sometimes this thing doesn't input things correctly. And I didn't get any of this from a forum, I got this off his Facebook page. Sonic Ether's forum is incredibly out of date, and this is the easiest way to install because its virtually impossible to install sonic ether's shaders manually (At least for me.)  

Every time I've ever tried to install this (and I want to) I muck it up somehow. (Even when I used MagicLauncher).

same here, I just followed all the instructions and when I got onto a world. it was just black with the bar at the bottom and a text said a new optifine version was available, can't do anything after that...  

There goes my graphics card.
