Ah well... not really what I was expecting. It would have been cool if they approached it like an actual 3D game, rather than just taking the 2D game and giving it very basic 3D visuals. At this rate you're still doing the same thing, just with another dimension.

Really cool, and I like how they fit the house interiors into the actual building sizes. I just think it would have been cool to have an actual 3D game, with 3D environments, movements, models and battles.

Also I'm not 100% sure... but is that the Gold/Silver?

Is this a joke or wut? People don't act like Pokemon has never been rendered in 3D. People act like Pokemon has never had an actual adventure/rpg game in 3D... which isn't entirely accurate either. There have been games like Gale of Darkness that tries to do some sort of true adventure game; I haven't played it though. Point is people want a true Pokemon RPG in 3D, and not a spin-off; but that's effort and at this point they're much more comfortable releasing the same thing every year because it's safer.

They're the same exact games with a bit of 3D perspective tacked on. I mean graphically it's cool to look at and it appeals to my pixel nature, but it's not a 3D game by any means.

Yeah it does seem like minecraft.

The game also has day and night which is amazing also with some whether effects  

Nintendo should remake Pokemon Blue and Red for the Wii or WiiU with full 3D graphics including battles. That would make me play pokemon again.  

This looks pretty cool to me.

Pokemon would actually be really fun to play on the WiiU with the new controller.
