You know the riot shield thats attached to the KSG Shotgun? I think we take that riot shield and sell it separately for dual wield guns, such as the deagle, mk23 etc. Eg. You have a Deagle and a riot shield in your inventory. When you have the deagle in your hotkey it has an option to equip the riot shield with your deagle. Now this may seem overpowered, So the riot shield should need to be repaired more frequently then guns. When it is damaged, the damage block % lowers from 100% to 75% then 50% then so on and so forth. Just an idea I came up with while in the shower, so don't judge me.

Have any thoughts about this topic or suggestions to make this idea better? Write them down.  

Seems like a nice idea. But I think maybe have certain guns using it only such as new guns so it isn't overpowered but still a good idea.  

In that instance it'd only be fair to start selling it separately.  

One of the main reasons to buy KSG is because of the shield. It was fun using the KSG shield + melee combo before the admins patched it. It felt balanced in my opinion because the melee attack will disable the shield protection for a brief moment.

BAR or PBP + Shield = insanely overpowered and cheap gameplay.

The shield has potential to change the gameplay in iEra. The shield can be drawn out with low freeze but there is a delay before you can shoot after you take out the shield. (like when you take out a gun without reloading it) You can take out the shield the last second before a bullet hits you so that you take less damage. Shooting while holding the shield adds more freeze to your gun like how you shoot the KSG with your shield.  

It should be added to pistols and lesser SMGs. The only exclusions for pistol are the luger and steampunk pistol, i think.  

No riot shield needs to be its own seperate melee, no weapons used on it, the only attack on it is a shield bash with 5 damage and 100% knockback

Eh not 100% knockback maybe 80% or 70%  

makes no sense then, your pushing a person back, 100% would make sense if riot sheild had a insanly low attack

I agree.  

Bottom line is no guns with riot shield. Era tried it once and it turned into cahos, if theres ever going to be a riot shield no guns. In exchange for no guns, a melee attack and ability to block melees along with bullets. However please do not make it to block explosives.
I would love to see era pull of a riot sheild. This would provide great gameplay and actualy give attackers a chance to get past gun walls. Also its gotta be cheap. Like 7k
