The reason people join spar, or the reason people SHOULD be joining spar is to spar(lol i said spar a lot). Not to chat and waste other people's time that they could be on a streak by now. Ya i understand to just switch rooms, but you can't tell me this is annoying right? Im not sure anything will or can be done about this except un-extend the time. Just thought i'd go ahead and complain about this...

Lmao, no no. I mean when your watching the two people in spar who are talking. Not while im sparring. Of course i'd kill them if they were chatting it up.  

Yeah they should make it so chat is disabled in the sparring bit.  

Oh, sorry I understood it the wrong way!

There are many ways to change that as in
- disabling chat(they could still PM if those aren't turned off while sparring), but may not make them start to spar when facing a friend
- lowering down the time of a spar, but this may "destroy" good spar games which are really fun
- etc.
But all those ways to change that may destroy the actual fun sparring is. The best way would be to add a rule which forbidds you to evade sparring while being in a spar, but this sounds ******ed and pathetic..

I think you just have to deal with it, no matter how much it is annoying.  

Eh, I dont mind chatting, just leave the room if it bothers you so much.  

You can't do this in era as they disable the GUI aside from movement and weapons.  

Ya, i know. I'll always have to deal with it. I just figured i'd make a thread about me complaining lol. But i do appreciate you for giving ur ideas on how to fix this even though your right about it ruining the spar experience  

There's no way for the staff to change that without hurting the spars itself.
If anyone can't stand it he should check other rooms or go get something to eat, etc. #reallifeaftivities.  

classic staff can easily implement the same system era has where while in spar it takes away chat, menu, pm options and icons. Makes the screen somewhat more visible and gives an overall better spar experience.
