Worth buying? How much better is it from the first? What are some new improvements?

If you liked the story then yes you should buy it. The multiplayer is almost the same just some new guns but the gameplay is a bit changed with how much bullets to put into people. The zombies has always been great in both games so it is worth it.

I thought the campaign was a step in the right direction. Multiplayer was bad for me. Zombies also wasn't up to par.

Urrm..... I love it, depending on how much you plan to play it, the hardened edition is worth it. If you like zombies, its worth buying just for the zombies, as much as people say its not, multiplayer is really fresh and new. Great graphics, sfx, storyline. Great buy, well worth it. Strays greatly from the cookie cutter call of duty path.

~Side Note~
The multiplayer is good, but even with the "Best" lag compensation setting, it still takes a lot more bullets to kill. Definitely.

I don't mean in the sense of guns, what I mean is :
It gives a fresh new feel. The slightly new graphics, and the gun SFX not sounding like pitch bent popcorn helps. But what I was trying to say, was of course its still a little cookie cutter to the last one, why would it not be, we are talking about an fps in a series. But you simply can not say it has not changed, otherwise you must be blind. So I was not saying. OMG IT IS THE NEWEST THING EVER HURR DURR. More, it feels and looks new.

-Great Multiplayer

Anyone here who is saying each CoD is to repetitive and the new ones don't change then why do you play graal? That isn't repetitive? BO2 offers alot of varieties of gameplay and is definately a must buy for xbox or ps3.

CoD's multiplayer is overly repetitive, and so is Graal. BO2 brings nothing to the table (in terms of fundamental gameplay) that its predecesors haven't already. Zombies is okay, the campaign is pretty decent for a Call of Duty game. Had Black Ops 2 been a standalone game and its predecessors never existed, it would be an exceptional game.

It's just Black Ops in a futuristic setting, I mean if that is fresh and new to you then that's your opinion I guess but nothing has really changed once you look past that.

The graphics and sound effects are still not up to par with Infinity Ward either.
