I have been in a guild and it randomly got hacked and every member got kicked. We were just about to re-recruit all the members when I suddenly saw that a Perm that just came online recruited the hacker again. He was blacklisted but the Perm didn't know it. So I suddenly had a random idea: There should be a Guild Ban! It's easy: It should be a right for the leader only or a right to give away like recruit or kick right. If you have the right you can just click on the player you want to ban, go on more actions and press a button like 'Guild ban' Of corse you or anyone else with the right can always unban the player with for example 'Guild unban' (just like block and unblock). As long as the player is banned from the guild he is not recruitable to the the guild he is banned from. On this way you can keep your guild clean from all the players that you don't want and people can't just change their look and name and get re-recruited as a "totally different person" that they seem to be. |

Not a bad idea actually. When I started reading this thread I thought it was going to be another complaining one, but the idea is nice. Banning a player from a guild could prevent from recruiting one that changes their name and such.

would be nice if you could use guild ban an ally so they didnt show up in guild chat for the members of your guild.

Great idea! Some people use cheat engine to get in guilds, so this would prevent with Guild Ban.

Ive had the same thought before... it should be a power that only the guild owner possess. Add "Ban/Unban from your guild" to player profile's other options screen. My ban list would soon be the same size as my blocked list (a number greater than the number of letters there are in the alphabet, squared). |

I'd like to see guilds refurbished in general. Shared guild houses, guild bank, and other communal improvements.

Imprint is on to something. Guild ban, not too excited.. If the guild really is a family and shares close friendships, nobody should have any problems understanding one another. I'm sure a well-organized guild would have no problem not allowing a certain player in a guild, and all leaders would share the responsibility. Although, I think the "perm/temp" system most guilds use today is pretty unorganized, and guilds accept nearly anybody in their guild if that person is willing to help a cause. The system just generally stinks.. However, if a guild ban system was put into place, I'm afraid all the tower-taking guilds would be subject to the same abuse the spar community deals with: People will make second accounts if necessary. Then it won't matter who is banned or not, as they could just get a new account if they want. |

IP-based blacklist system? Or, it registers the user with their #, so it can still see any name changes. It also records their IP and the email they've registered with. It's not perfect, but it would help. Might be too complicated though. But I like this idea, as well as the idea of guild updates in general. Imprint, by guild bank, do you mean a "bank account" that members of the guild would put gralats into? Would all be able to withdrawal money? Would it stay in there once you put it in, for brand new shiny guild items? And I think I understand shared guild houses... Guild houses everyone in the guild can edit. I can imagine those having more dormitory style rooms and such. Or would they be the same as normal? |

Blueh, your post didn't really solve any problems.. But yeah, it it would help if it worked. Seriously doubt it will.
