I'd say 30-60 ppl watch it tops and maybe that's probably being generous...people just won't be interested besides a few here and there that are probably playing it. Would be nice if it was smoother/better quality for playback purposes but I can't see it happening.

Era admins did GST stream on twitch(2015 one) then uploaded to youtube. During the stream they had 200-250 viewers, but let's not forget there were few good reasons that contributed to this number. - streamed and commentated by admins - era viewing room is absolutely garbage, u can only see overview, no details - admins advertised in game, to watch it on twitch - it's an annual gst, not seasonal - 1 gst room, 16 teams formed with (5 best from each base hour, gs score, player kills, 1 prev champ) Overtime they got wht? 5k-10k+ views on youtube, but era already has 30k+ population on youtube bc of era channels and giveaway videos. So it was very possible. Classic can have admins record and commentate. But i doubt it will pass over 100 people unless they host a chat giveaway, which will boost 200 and upward. If they upload it to Youtube, then they'll get 2k views. I think some of my older gst videos have 1k views just cause people don't remember old gsts. Adding: Just found the newest era gst video(2016 one). Lool Damn I skimmed through and they got ~730 viewers. That's crazy and looks very professional too. And i can't believe it's ALWAYS Freeze vs. Shrekt at finals. Lol |

how can GST possibly have 1k viewers when there probably aren't even 100 different people sparring actively. #50 sparrer by wins throughout the whole season barely has 1,000 wins. sparring is dead on graal, so is towering, most of the players only use it for the social aspect. you can't possibly think shutting down the server to everyone else is a good idea.

I highly doubt that they would ever close off the server from non-participants and the teams who lose, but gst would be super clean if they did. No one can truly know what can happen if it hasn't happened yet. Don't understand why people can't expect graal to get more than what they think. A moba like Vainglory for iOS/Android gets 5-7k average views. I think their finals get 12k, and that's a mobile game... Graal needs to start branching out more. Competitive tournament streams, merchandise, Youtube trailers, future update videos, more giveaways, etc. |

Also that game you mention id imagine the finals/what they stream is the primary gameplay of the game... sparring in graal is a small group of people and not even the main part of the game and doesnt net much income vs the other aspects of the game. Im just being realistic about viewership, it will not be anywhere close to 1000, gotta build your viewership to even expect that. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |

classic would never close off the server for GST. the max they can do , have an admin stream one of the arena and host a giveaway during the stream. just gonna drop a era gst link Spoiler
aguzo u should go to era or something. i don't see classic doing that for next 5 years. |
