Lebron shouldn’t have joined the lakers. Here’s why: 1. He’s ruining his on-paper career. He’s not gonna be remembered as a laker he’s going to be remembered as a cavalier and heat. Him joining the lakers is like MJ joining the wizards. Kobe,Shaq,Kareem. Magic, they’re all going to overshadow his legacy. 2. His chances of making it to the finals are so much lower now. He’s gonna have to go through teams like the warriors, rockets, pelicans, and maybe even the thunder if Russ changes him self a bit. 3. His teammates aren’t ready. The pressure these rookies have to go through when playing alongside Lebron is gonna be too much to handle. They’re either gonna develop well with him or not. And the chances of them not developing is much higher cause they’re playing with a ball dominant player that makes his players become spot up shooters. And we all know Lonzo’s shooting. But wait, isn’t Kawhi going to join him? No, the spurs would never trade their star mvp candidate to the west, let alone to the same team Kawhi wants to go to. The lakers aren’t getting another superstar but the looks of how much people they just signed and resigned. And the spurs would be dumb to ruin their own competition by putting Kawhi into a western team |

he is gonna gain a bit more than he would have in cleveland, so it's prob not so much about the money. I'm sure they have a plan on getting the right squad in order to win in the next 4 years |

rn if every remaining free agent resigns with their team, imo: western conference: 1. warriors 2. rockets 3. spurs 4. lakers 5. clippers 6. pelicans 7. jazz 8. nuggets 9. thunder 10. trailblazers 11. timberwolves 12. mavericks 13. kings 14. suns 15. grizzlies EVERY top 11 team has a chance to make the playoffs, huge dropoff at 12, really speaks to the strength of the western conference. also note that any team between 4 and 11 is nearly interchangeable. biggest potential movers: spurs will fall far if kawhi leonard is traded, clippers will fall far if they can’t resign avery bradley/montrezl harrell (marcin gortat was a good pickup to replace deandre jordan imo), pelicans will fall far if they can’t resign rajon rondo/demarcus cousins, jazz will barely drop without derrick favors. kings can move up from 13 to 12 if they use all of their cap space to sign a decent player. lakers will definitely be a playoff team with lebron james, if all-time most overrated player kobe bryant carried trash to the playoffs, the GOAT should easily be able to do it, but they won’t last long in the western conference playoffs. eastern conference: 1. celtics 2. 76ers 3. raptors 4. pacers 5. bucks 6. wizards 7. cavaliers 8. pistons 9. heat 10. hornets 11. knicks 12. hawks 13. nets 14. bulls 15. magic celtics will easily grab the 1 seed and a finals appearance, will be a dynasty for a long time. cavaliers will still make the playoffs, the narrative that lebron “had no help” was simply not true and only to distract from the fact that he was struggling against an improved eastern conference. george hill/rodney hood/kyle korver/kevin love/tristan thompson are still great players, just hard to see that in an offense where they are barely moving because tyronn lue is having lebron play disgusting iso ball on every possession. i believe the top 8 playoff positions are locked down, massive dropoff after the pistons, who aren’t that great themselves. magic are doomed to stay at 15 no matter what happens, nets did a good job somehow improving with no draft choices, bulls suck at drafting, hawks success dependent on supremely overrated player trae young. only possible movement is bucks trading places with wizards without jabari, though there is a massive gap in talent between these two teams. edit: top 8 combined imo: 1. warriors 2. celtics 3. rockets 4. 76ers 5. raptors 6. spurs 7. pacers 8. lakers |

Comet are you actually insane? The raptors are a trash team that only perform in the regular season, every season they have a "new playbook" and "more ball movement" yet they get swept as soon as the playoffs get real. They are actually and by far the most overrated team in the nba. The clippers? really? they just lost one of their best players, who was replaced with marcin gortat. Thunder will be top4 if they get a new coach and replace melo with a guy like kevin love who can 3 + D. also if roberson improves his offense or they get avery bradley to replace. Pelicans need to RESIGN boogie and TRADE him for a elite small forward, maybe the celtics will trade hayward for boggie and move horford to PF. would make their starting 5 unbeatable |

yes raptors are absolute trash in the playoffs but that is how their regular season standings will turn out once again. my ranking is entirely regular season standings predictions, nothing more. also you guys fail to realize that the clippers were playing many of those games without patrick beverley, avery bradley, and milos teodosic. they replaced deandre jordan who is literally just catch lobs and rebound with a very serviceable center in marcin gortat (yes he is worse but he is not a bad player), while at the same time removing a player with a negative impact on their games in austin rivers. if the clippers somehow retain their free agents and have a rotation with patrick beverley, lou williams, milos teodosic, avery bradley, danilo gallinari, the supremely underrated tobias harris, montrezl harrell, marcin gortat, to go along with their high energy bench role players, i think they’ll easily improve from last season’s results. interesting stat: among all qualified players montrezl harrell ranked 12th in the NBA in PER last season also if boogie and kawhi BOTH join lebron on the lakers they are winning a championship, all three of these players are top 10 in the league imo, with boogie being 1A/1B for best big man in the NBA with anthony davis adding a bit as an NBA stat nerd: patrick beverley played in just 11 games, avery bradley 6. meanwhile, this team was so plagued by injuries that they STARTED: sindarious thornwell 17 times, “jamil wilson” (???) 10 times, tyrone wallace 19 times, wesley johnson 40 times, austin rivers 59 times, jawun evans 4 times, and even gave one start to sam dekker of all people. of course some of these starts were to cheese lou williams (19 starts) into winning sixth man of the year but still

Gl pairing rondo with lebron. Will not work at all unless theyre never on the floor at the same time. This isn't nba 2k these guys have a mind of their own Isiah thomas definitely gone now, lebron hates that midget. Imo they resign isaih and trade him for a 3 + D guy. If the lakers can do this they will contend PG: Trey Burke Backup: Rondo SG: Caldwell Pope Backup: Johnathan Simmons SF: Lebron Backup: Shabazz Muhammed PF: Blake Griffin Backup: Kuzma C: Hassan Whiteside: Backup Javale Macgee |
