Multiplayer??

Hey i just got minecraft recently but i want to play multiplayer? when i press it i see no servers or nothing like that so yeah do i have to be added onto the server or what?

You have to enter a server IP. My favorite server is abombcraft.dyndns.org

First, press multiplayer, then add server, in the name box type a name you want to remember the server as. Then in the IP box, say the IP of the server.
