For iEra > Graphics staff need RC to upload and check comments. > Adding RC rights adds server rights too. > It is much easier to coordinate development if a GFX can see the levels and make stuff accordingly. I mean, it doesn't make sense and is not very practical to "summon" their iOS and then tell them what to do. > It's a nice perk and lets you communicate directly to other staff through RC and client. > You can chill out with other admins in stealth mode B-) and if we're going into GP duties... > When no GPs are on and uploads are piling up, a GFX can do them. |

I am actually really glad the GFX Team has Server access. Since I work a lot with them on projects it's quite easy for them just to warp to me and see if the image fits or what image needs to be done. Doing all of that using screenshots would be a pain. It results in better quality and a faster result of graphics in my opinion Also for most people this is still a voluntary job, so it is awesome to have fun ones in a while. I honestly think, that I would quit my job if I don't have fun doing it. |

Why is this even a dicussion lol, excluding the fact that it is a lot better to be able to test your graphics ingame, it wouldn't be fair if the majority of staff got client access with the exception of scripters, sfx, graphics. And nobody would want to be those positions anyway if that were the case
