400x200 pixels isn't hd... oh anyways about the system My little brother bought one and several games, and I tried them. I had to say they were severely disappointing. For a 2011 system costing $250 and has a sole purpose of games, its graphics are terrible. my 4th generation iPod touch has better graphics and it is much smaller, cheaper, games are cheap and much more fun, and does much more than games. As for the gameplay, the current games don't seem to offer much of it, and are more arcadeish(most early games on nintendo systems are this way). The "eshop" contains overpriced apps and games that hardly have any content. A bunch of simple clocks with skins cost $2. very basic games like bricks cost $5. simple 2d platformers cost $10+. my advice would be not to get one unless you are a huge nintendo games fan, because nintendo refuses to make games for any platforms except their own. |
