Towering
Is the activity of Raiding Guild Fortresses and holding them as long as possible until you become overwhelmed or apprehended by opposing foes who wish to try to take over the fort from you.
-There are 5 Guild forts in graal. Each with their own unique levels and # of floors and/or also Obstacles.
This Mechanic scores your guild something called "Tower Hours" which is recorded as hours for every amount of hours/minutes you hold the Fortress for until the flag has been captured by an opposing guild and hits
Zero
Variety
This Mechanic of the game involves lots of Shouting Orders and Many many many strategies. Tactics are the most powerful weapons in this field of gameplay. Beware, Most Strategies involve full on "Storm the Fort" Simultaneously Tactics consisting of over 20-40 players of the same guild/allies. Many Skilled Sparrers can plan ingenious strategies and take over any fort with minimal effort. *Cough Cough*
Pk Lords taking castle from BFMR*Cough cough*
There WAS a reward system for this type of gameplay, it unfortunately was Removed. 1000 Hours=Guild Hat 5000 Hours=Gif animated Guild Hat 10000 Hours=Custom Mount. These apply to up to 25 players
Towering involves hitting a flag to zero and holding it from being hit to zero by opposing players . Owners of the tower however can hit the flag to restore it's lost hp.
Player Killing
Obviously it is what the name says. Generally this is done everywhere even in towers(THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING)
It involves Killing Players, Every Legitimate Player kill is counted on a stat inside every players profile as "Player kills". Every Season the 3 people who have killed the most players receive a trophy furniture and inventory item and gralats?. The other 47 receive some other reward. A plaque for their house and gralats as well maybe.
Anyways this activity was mostly performed on the overworld when
North of Graal City beyond the arena and out front the police station were Pk areas. Including south of Mod Guild Fort and Path By the train station. As well York Town.
Most Areas on the overworld have had pking Disabled Forcing pkers into towers, This is because people Compare Pming and Towering as the same thing and Complain Point should only be in forts
Sparring
Is the activity of One-on-One Duels with other players. "
Fights to the Death" inside a boxed arena in a room called a "SPAR room". Wins and losses are all recorded in your profile, Other Records - Every Season There is a record for "Longest SPAR win streak" which is usually immediately performed by someone highly skilled.
This Activity is practically "Bare Bones" fighting. Alternate weapons such as Arrows bombs and Lanterns are disabled during all matches.
Guild Sparring
Is an alternate mode of Sparring. It consists of 2 guilds in a much larger SPAR box. Each guild must have at least 2 members in the SPAR queue to participate in a match. The max amount allowed is 5 members per guild per match.(If more than 5 members are queued then whoever didn't get in the match for that guild is then moved to the front of the member queue for the next match that guild partakes in. Whichever team of Sparrers is the last standing wins. This mechanic has it's own seasonal event. Every Season There is a Guild Spar Tourney.
I do not partake in these and never have Therefore I cannot give any info on it or how the bracketing functions I am sorry.
This thread was created to Explain all the things about each of these mechanics/ Activities. As you can see each ones objectives are different from one another.
Everybody, In the future please Reference this before you go off Comparing Towering with Pking to argue about changes that nerd to be done to towering or vice versa. Or towering and sparring. None of these activities have the same objectives and therefore cannot be support in arguments as the same things
Hope this Clears Up the continued Comparing of the 3 which one another I have kept on seeing^^
May this be Stickied Perhaps? If not I'll just make a copy for future reference.
