Can the outcome of this prominent issue PLEASE be direct communication with the administrator involved in accepting and/or disapproving custom uploads? I would even volunteer to undergo training and take part in the process... It would save EVERYONE who has anything to do with the submissions process time and effort! |

Ugh, well looks like I better work on redesigning my head then. Honestly, Misa, I think it's hypocracy to state that we can't make our own design based on a character and yet we have other stuff on the server that is even more of an "infringement" of anything copyright. I've argued this with UN and their blatant Super Mushroom NPC and I'll argue it here too. They've finally dropped the upload restriction years back and no one is complaining. Just reject any sprite rips or anything that blatant. Everything else is fan art and has no direct cause for profiting graal and is not illegal. |

Well I was excited to get my head uploaded but I'm going to have to go through a bunch of tweaks in my outfit that was already fine in the first place. I have nothing against the staff/admins, but I just think their stance on this is overkill, and possibly hypocritical on grounds that I've stated previously. Can you explain to me what you mean by making it Graal-like? |

It's probably the whole Zelda Online incident. That was years ago, and it wasn't just blatant, it was exact and 100% infringement. The whole salespoint was based on being Zelda. At least I HEARD, many times, that this was once called Zelda Online during some point. That's obviously Stefan's fault, or whoever made that choice. Taking the WHOLE idea, every bit and every aspect, is what caused them to get in trouble. No one is going to care about small images made by other people. It's like filing a lawsuit because a forum has avatars with copyright characters. |

Honestly I don't see why everyone is getting so worked up about this, just be creative and make something that no one has ever seen, be imaginative. Otherwise you're kind of just doing like everyone else: taking things coming from someone else imagination in the beginning. Sure, the game has alot of zelda content, but how does that mean that you can? It's not like if you wouldn't be able to create something by your own. But it is true though that heads, bodies, shield and swords coming from other games wouldn't be that much of a problem, the only thing is to not exagerate which always happen. |
