imo, strafing is wildly overrated and doesn't net any hit 98% of the time.
Also imo, the mixed teams I think would do well against idev teams that don't have delay on them, but as has been stated in this thread, almost every team sucks against delay really bad. I don't like to throw Endeavor under the bus here but I think they're a good example of this, as they almost lost to TURKISH WOLF after going down 1-0 and then losing to (Ammo) after. Not to discredit their placing either but that team does not have any real elite sparrers on it, the most notable one being Wick, probably. The fact that this team can run through multiple teams on mixed side with what are considered to be really good sparrers is evidence that mixed teams in general suck vs delay. We also saw this when Alumni idevice members did mixed one tournament and won pretty easily from my understanding (although I wasn't playing hardly any around that time). Dark has also notably done well as a member of Holy mixed team in the past, and teams like Deity using Dae and Eko have also found success against a lot of the field, though that was a lot farther in the past. I do wish Holy vs. Endeavor wasn't 5v3, because that would have been another data point for mixed teams vs. delay since Holy was primarily not made up of American sparrers for the first time.
An idev team that doesn't have delay I think would get run over by Alumni, Holy, or Endeavor, just cause the quality of sparrers are just worse overall usually on those teams. I think Alumni idev members would destroy everyone aside from Alumni mixed if they were to enter the mixed side.
One major advantage idevice players have is that they can avoid being caught account sharing in multiple cases to win GSTs, whereas mixed teams have been caught and punished appropriately for doing this, or they suck so bad they get run over despite the tremendous advantage they get anyways.
