Here in Sweden I can choose between like 8 ISPs and they're pretty competitive...you know, for a socialist country and all. |

That's true. Some parts of America that aren't very modernly connected to the world only have one real way of connecting. I live in a populated area so I have access to AT&T Uverse, Xfinity, Cox, Timewarner, Verizon, Charter. You won't know most of these companies, but I have those options available from small ISP's to multinational ones. It's not just me though, a lot of Americans have these as well.
