Black Desert Online
Does anybody plays this pretty-recent MMORPG? If yes, any good fishing hotspots ? http://i1.2pcdn.com/node14/image/article/201510/23/20151023055349a0e8f4qio495t4rt.jpg (Unsupported image host) |

It's a good game but it's hardcore for the sake of it. Some people will adore it, but it's ruthless and it doesn't make concessions Also, it's buggy. Very buggy. Some quests break and the support team is just like "Oh well, that's a shame" (e.g. I had a fishing quest and my quest unique rod broke and the NPC wouldn't give me a new one so I'm unable to ever finish the quest, reached out to devs/support: they didn't care). This is poor customer support for a commercial AAA MMO The housing system is fantastic though, 10/10. The graphics are nice, reminds me of FFXIV. The class/sex restrictions are silly and are indicative of a developer who doesn't make games for western sensibilities (devs had indicated that they might fix this in the future though). If your PC can run it, it's worth trying out. |

Sardon is literally the person you want to avoid when asking for video game advice. Hearing consoles is superior than PC for gaming makes me just want to sit back and wonder if the man truly has a brain or just saying that cause he can't build a decent PC. Anyways, BDO was boring too me. I got hooked up with a guest pass and was just bored from a few hours of play. It might have gotten better down the road but I had enough from the few hours I put in. |

I preffer consoles because they are more sociable, comfortable and have great exclusives. Right now im playing the nintendo exclusive xenoblade chronicles which is a great game you should check out. I don't care if the hardware is upgradable or if the graphics are better on something Im in for the games and I can't seem to find too many games that I like on pc. |

At the first months of release I got myself a Lv.45 Archer as well as 3-4 other classes in Lv.20s. I don't remember any bugs, but there's too many things that were left unexplained, unless you take time to do side quest, but never not rewarding. Grinding part wasn't great. Like everyone was rushing to reach lv.50 (soft cap), so grind seemed like a mandatory. They released expansions way too early. After quitting for 3 weeks, they released the new expansion. Gotta admit that graphics were top notch and little things that made the town look lively and I love my characters. |

So far so good. My PC isn't a good build either but I enjoy the game with the mid-low graphics. The map being big is pleasant to me :p a lot to explore, never ends, you just have to use the map a lot to reach the cities/places you need. About the community, thats the problem, there are too many servers and not many social people... luckily I joined a social guild where we use teamspeak for every second. About bugs, I haven't encountered any, and Game Masters are helpful as far as I have hear and seen, so far I give the game a solid 9 out of 10, give it a shot :p BTW, consoles are better in their own way, I seem forced to get a PS4 for Uncharted 4, The last of us 2, no man's sky... etc. They look good. |
