I fully believe the current GK staff team is doing everything in their power to improve the game. However, with that said, that's not going to be enough. Hi by the way, I'm Ziro, I've been a developer on and off on GK over the last... 10 or so years. I've worked under all it's managers since then except the current one, meaning Björn, Tig and later Nico. They all tried their best to improve the server from their point of view. The problem is, the server is fundamentally broken in the way that it's based on a very old roguelike game called Crossfire. When unixmad and Stefan first developed the server, they never implemented a lot of the core mechanics from Crossfire into Graal Kingdoms. This is why there are countless of items, spells and general mechanics in the game that does absolutely nothing yet exist for seemingly no reason at all. Another big problem is that most of the server functionality is hardcoded directly into the Graal client. That essentially means that no developer is able to change any of it, and the only person to ever have (Stefan) doesn't even work for Graal anymore. So, wall of text aside, you're likely to become very disappointed if you ever expect anything out of GK that it already isn't. Even if the staff wanted to make a better game of it, it's practically impossible. The server has been practically exactly the same since it's release in 2002 (or was it late 2001? Can't remember!) with the exception of a couple of new events, crypts, minor edits to existing content and lots of newly added items. It's never gonna be more than that. |

Shaun White appears to have suffered a major back injury during the event. Here we go to the Burton PR spokesperson-- "I was apparently hired as a public relations for Burton awhile back. The thing is, they had no idea what to do with us right after hiring and now its been about a year and I haven't heard anything." |
