Hey guys, I just registered for the fourms and it seems great. I need some help with gralat farming and to understand it more. So if you were to reply to my questions it would help me out!

1- Do gralats change color overtime?
2- Do you have to keep tossing bombs for them to change color?
3- How long does farming take to get around a gold gralat?
4- Is buying bombs from the store needed? Or is killing baddies more effective?

1. Gralats change color based on their values which can be increased by farming them more.

• Green: 1-5
• Blue: 6-29
• Red: 30-99
• Gold: 100-499
• Purple 500-999
• Black 1,000+

I believe you can get rainbow gralats at 10,000, but I'm not completely sure.

2. Yes

3. Until they reach a value of 100. You can tap a gralat to check its value.

4. I'd say no. Not only can you kill baddies to earn bombs fairly quickly, players will also now drop their bombs when someone (hopefully you) kills them.

Another thing you should know is that you can click gralats to "lock" them so that they do not get accidentally (or intentionally in the case of thieves) picked up. Also, keep in mind that gralats spawn more quickly if there are more players in your house or guild house. Hope this helps!

Yes, only when new Gralats "spawn" in the place of existing Gralats. Refer to MattKan's above post for a guide on their colors. Also, between Black and Rainbow, there is a Cyan(?) Gralat at 5,000 I think.

Sorta. You can use your sword to make Gralats spawn or have their value increased. Anything that can break grass like sword or bombs.
I'm sorry if that answer didn't make sense.

3- How long does farming take to get around a gold gralat?

Like Matt said, a Gralat needs a value of 100 to turn gold. How long that takes in minutes depends on how focused you are. If you use a horse, and have music to help, I don't think it takes more than 30 minutes ish to get a few gold Gralats.

4- Is buying bombs from the store needed? Or is killing baddies more effective?

Rainbow gralats exist now.  

Wow, thanks for the info guys! And by the way how do you get horses? Ive never had one.  

also if you have ppl in your house when you farm the gralat spawn rate increases. Thus allowing you to gain gralats a little bit faster.

The simplest way, is to look for "Horse Stables" on the map. It's on the east side, beneath Snowtown, west of York, between Master Li's and Nexus, and north of the river. There, you can find basic horses. The cheapest horse(s?) being 2,500 Gralats.

You can also get horses from VIP ocassionally, and winning very rare events.

Also, you can get Gralats from doing the Pyrat Quest (ask other people how to do that, I can't explain in text for my life) or from catching bugs. There are tutorials on bugs already, but to get to the Bug Net, go to MoD town in the Northwest, and find a dude (I think he lives in a tree?) and talk to him. He'll give you a Net and you can catch bugs with it. Then you can sell the bugs to some old hag in Swamptown.
