I think hes talking about how its default "Blur" effect works.... just change it to "Pixelated" and it will look more crisp.

It wouldn't be possible. "Retina" is just super high resolution images. They'd have to recreate every image in the game. Also, the bigger file size of every image would affect not only the server but the network you are using. Downloading hundreds of huge 300+ dpi resolution images over 3G? Not good.
