If anyone towers they know that the more contested a tower is, the more people show up. The smaller the number of forts, the better. I apologize for the slight derailment, here. I needed to help justify the removal of Castle. |

I tend to agree castle was a bit of a waste of space, but at the time it was removed, York fort was probably the most interesting mechanically. It was far from the other towers, but then, MoD was shifted to a new area at one point (from the woods) and this could have been treated the same way. Snowtown fort... was a train wreck. Long empty tunnels, poorly thought out respawn point for the defenders... way out in the middle of nowhere... It could have had some tender lovin and become great, though. They all could have. I don't tower competitively (if at all) but the innovative work at destiny and what was BoxFort promises new and exciting things for those who do. |
