This can literally be fixed in 10 minutes with a few lines of GScript.

Just like people preying exclusively on new players in BA side rooms could be fixed in a short amount of time. Just like towering could be fixed in a short amount of time. And so on, etc.

When is this game going to hire a community manager, or someone who is actually active and connected to the game, to tell you when your ideas are harmful to the community in certain ways? What was the point of making these forums "official" if developer/staff interaction with the community isn't significantly increased?

Who needs improved gameplay when we get fake events for half price tho right? i will honestly be shocked if they fix this in the next 3 months
But it's okay they will compensate us with a bunch of recoloured and edited overpriced hats

I just pkd DW for 1 hour. In that time I counted 186 kills. Only 129 of those were counted on my profile. There were an average of 4 other players in the flag room at all times and the tower was held by the same guild the entire time, but with some change in the players defending.
So basically it was a typical hour of pking, but in that time I was robbed of 57 kills.

Seems like you actually got lucky with the amount of kills you received. I PKed Sards which had about 4-5 defenders for about 30-40 minutes and seriously only got about 30-40 kills. Even though I was dominating them.

Difference being the defenders never switched out. The kills I actually got weren't even from the defenders but from other pkers.

The problem still persists and this thread still hasn't been touched by someone who can explain why this new system is in place, how it works, and what it's goal is. I would appreciate it if we had some clarity on this whole thing.

Again, this system is crippling to PK and Towering. This system is poorly thought through, and implemented at the worst time. These kinds of changes should only be made at the start of a seasonal reset. The people who are trying to catch up on the top 50 PKs now are at a disadvantage because of this unannounced change.

Based on what I'm seeing from the thread regarding upload tokens, there's two serious problem with the dev team. There's a lack of communication between each other and with the players. Considering no one has responded to this thread, I think that only helps solidify that this problem exists.

This lack of communication is damaging a whole community. It's one of this games most dedicated communities is the PKing community. It is never a good idea to disregard a whole in online games; especially without communicating to that community (and the playerbase as whole) the changes that will take place.

I highly doubt anyone on the dev team understands what kind of crippling change they've implemented. I encourage you all to hop on your player accounts, or make one if you don't have one, and go PK at towers and in the overworld to see how unrewarding it feels to PK now. There was little to no playtesting done at all with this change. Anyone involved with this change needs to see how this change impacts gameplay in the live game. You need to understand the feeling of PKing hundreds of people and only 1/4 of those kills being rewarded on your profile and seasonal leaderboard.

If you're going to implement gameplay changes like this, try to actually play your game first. Maybe that'll help you understand what's a good idea and a bad one.

You guys do realize it’s just preventing you from killing the same person back to back. Switch up the patterns and it’s no issue. I still get the same amount I usually get before the change. It was probably implemented to avoid boosters

I believe some part of the system was changed in the last day or two, but I don't know for sure.

If someone is boosting off of the same person for long periods of time, why weren't they caught? Don't accounts get flagged for boosting? I highly doubt boosting off of the same player for long amount of time has been a serious problem.

I've very rarely heard of people with high kills getting reset for boosting, it honestly probably didn't happen all that much. The only case I can recall is one of (I think) Agonee's friends with a bit over 100k like 2-3 years ago, and he was caught and handled.

With this update you guys are creating a bigger problem trying to fix a smaller problem..

Who's out there sitting in a corner with a noob account sword spamming for kills? You'd be better off just pking a tower. How many kills would someone get with this method? 1,000? 5,000? 10,000? 20,000? No one will be impressed by these numbers, and it really just sounds incredibly boring. The end goal of pking isn't even to gain kills, it's to gain skill so you can run circles around kids, which you won't get by boosting.

Riot boosting does occur, but I can't see this feature making a big difference if there are a lot of people in the mob.
