i heard that a home2 command was added for only players that donate to the server, would it be possible that home2 could be given to all players and a less major ability be given to donators? or some way of getting /home2 without having to pay? im having issues getting any payment options for this, alot of these paypal type things im unable to use or sign up for.  

It's also available for veterans, regardless of donation status.  

I think this is fine as it stands.  

its just its a extremly useful thing and i dont see why it isnt given to all players, it seems kind of silly to restrict something that cant be used to grief. i agree with lava and fire being restricted to veterans, but its frustrating not being able to change your sethome if your house is far away from warps. were as players that live near warps need not worry because they dont have to go refind their houses  

Players have /home already. Giving higher ranks benefits isn't just because of griefing, but also provides a sense of encouragement to help the community.  

I see. I was more expecting non gameplay advantages like getting to choose the color of there name and a special veterans only area.

The hell point is a special veterans only area... You can just walk out into the middle of nowhere and start building something anyway... lol

Thats what I'm saying, if you are like me and are out in the middle of nowhere you can't use home again without losing your place. Meaning you can't use home in the mines so if you die your still there and can get your stuff, its just very unfair feeling if you don't live near a warp  

I'm out in the middle of nowhere without a warp . but i make due .

If you feel like using home for non home purposes- then remember the co-ords to your actual home and then walk back after you're done. o_o
Edit: Or have a squatter at one of the locations and ask for a teleport.

Oh I know the coordinates, but that doesn't make it easier to walk 30000 blocks out. I'm not exaggerating.

Plus depending where your new area is- figured out if your old "home" is closer to "/spawn" or the current "/home"

yes and there's no warp out there for a reason . as a matter of fact I've had to make the trek twice .
