The punishments that are given are frequently severe, excessive and ridiculously inconsistent. The discretion that staff have over determining the length of a ban is too broad. There should not be a disparity of standards because variant standards results in inconsistent enforcement.
The original Classic server on PC wasn't even this ridiculous. I hate to see Graal deteriorate to the point of where "boosters" kills are reset entirely after such offense. "Boosting" should not be an offense where your kills are reset. If punishment is necessary for this, I think a short ban would be more appropriate. You might disagree but if you were playing Graal in the days BEFORE the NPC-Server was implemented onto Classic you should remember that Kills, Hours, Deaths, and Spar Rating were "protected" stats and could be not edited by ordinary staff. That is how I believe it should be now. I understand that boosting affects Scoreboards, but IDGAF about scores and rankings, they should be abolished. The original Classic didn't have them nor needed them.
I have to agree that there should be some reasonable reforms to banning procedure (If one even exists...if one doesnt, it should be implemented) and please fire all the incompetents who are even capable of giving these senseless excessive lenghty bans for offenses that warrant short bans. Please get rid of the staff who have faulty judgment or train them to exercise good judgment
. Off-topic, if you use the term booster you originated from a new generation who needs to be educated on proper Graal terminology...The correct term is LAMER! STOP USING THE WORD BOOSTER, OMG. Lamer was the word until the iPhone server spawned and corrupted the established terminology. Cease circulating this mislabel
TL;DR Stop giving long bans for minor offenses. Stop using term "Booster/Boost, use term "Lamer/Lame" instead. AND STOP RESETTING KILLS, IT'S WRONG!
