I like skybases because you cant just sit sat them. The real problem with PKers isn't the skybase problem. Multiple things can be done to get rid of all the PKers there. 1) add more. when there were 5 of them there was max like 2 pkers/base. They were never this concentrated 2) make the pk arenas good. I don't know anybody who uses them. Make like an advantage for using those as pk places and not the bases. |

Also, about the reset changes, everything's gonna have to be fixed manually since you can't reverse a reset. Skybases were ok, good for lower leveled squads and solo basing, its just annoying having to deal with pkers all the time, if skybases are gonna be staying forever then there needs to be moree added in, if not then there needs to be something else for pkers since the only pk spots in the entire game are there and conquest, which of course is a major gameplay issue. Spring and iricia need to be reworked so it has to be constantly played, its stupid that you can hold that base without even doing anything, also medbots and goonadiers need to be disabled in them. All the indoor bases need updating in some way to prevent lag, because its being heavily abused in them, also the bases should be moved up towards the wall (or built in them) so its more of a battle area instead of some scrub running around the base all the time. Conquest needs to be shrunken down, the whole design should be redone imo, and jetpacks disabled. Basing as a whole is a mess and needs serious work |

Good thing you finally point things out I already declared at my very first meeting (which you clearly know the details about ;) ) bases will most likely be implemented with the new map so every single one of them will be redesigned. Yet we can't add more skybases since we already have to many ways to get hours. And people can hold bases with none or 1 person. That shouldn't be happening |

Well, i was actually planning to change the basing system myself when i worked here. Also, solo basing isnt too big of concern since after some time it might get swarmed anyways. The new base updates that are planned tho need to be similar to how gemini is, needs to be wider so theres more room, narrow paths are some of the worst things a base can have.

Brev no, the whole "some scrub running around the base all the time" comment is wack. That's literally the entire premise of melee basers. Dodge and hit. This is discrimination. I dislike era and ol west bases because of that reason, don't make this on zone. The whole aspect of having four sides is what makes melee basing fun.
In terms of the entire "people can hold bases with none or 1 person" premise, it's much worse in spring and iricia than it is skybase. At least with SB there are PKers. Spring and iricia has always been super crap for smaller squads since everyone joins the larger one because it's almost a gaurunteed win. I've seen Ry hold off Spring for hours by recruiting noobs who didn't even help, but when people did showguild, they saw tons on. JS but the "vote" command between Gem and SB was reset. I've been getting more people acknowledged about it. You should check what those results are. Unless you're a high-class baser like SUB neb or Dec neb, you don't benefit from bases like Gem, spring, iricia, and conq. Literally Dec said "once wired ends, we have the planets and gem on lock. don't attack them". Skybases gave variety. These bases keep one squad in dominance. |
