how about this? create something called Activity Points. the more you do something will increase your activity points. spar, pk, messaging friends, looting, being on for 30min etc. but there's a limit for each activity.

Allowing players to kick people off a list...? That doesn't sound fair. The point of this idea is to reward the players who are following the rules, creating a nicer community. Maybe even getting a key for not causing any issues for a month? So you get to join 1 event per month, for sure. Staff wouldn't have to give it to you, you would get it as a reward from the system. |

The point is, its still much better than the old system, even if it would take a while if too many people wanted to join, its better than never getting into an event. The issue I have with your idea is that admins have to give them out. I think thats a horrible way to do your idea, why not do it automatically? But then everyone would just have a pass and thats the same as no one having a pass. How would the admins know who followed the rules? The only people they hang out with is their friends so they would get the passes by default and normal players wouldnt get ****. I like your idea of players who have broken the rules to be whitelisted from events for a bit though. |

Crab chance has shown two things relevant to this - Events can be automated and run somewhat smoothly without constant monitoring on behalf of staff. Though an initial surge in popularity is to be expected (and thus traffic to an area to participate), after time people get used to the event's presence and tend to lose interest to some degree, normalizing and reducing traffic. |
