Expired - Town Protection Information
You may have noticed that some Minecraft servers offer a means of protecting your home from griefing. Now that we are running 1.0, we can proudly announce that players can do the same here! You can request to have a city or town protected, which means you can choose to prevent griefing as well as disallow mob damage (to people or blocks) and the spreading of fire. It's easy to get an area protected! First, choose a name for your town or city. Second, compose a list of the players who will act as your city council, so to speak--the people that will be adding or removing other members. Finally, you simply have to contact PiX, Dusty or Rufus with this information to have your area protection set up! The following commands can be used to manage your plot of land:
We are offering this protection to only towns and cities because we hope that this policy will encourage players to collaborate their efforts into making more organized areas. However, we also do not want to impede on your ability to mine, so protected areas will only extend to 15 blocks below the surface. |
