I did a competition once with a partner and we got 1st in our category (in regionals) for a 5-10 min video about apples... not given topic beforehand, and we just made a comedic "documentary" about apples or something in a short time frame .
This was like 3 years ago, didn't do anything too fancy for it, but it was fun for sure!!
Your work sounds really interesting, I think that it would be cool to see what you've produced

Sounds fun! This year I'm doing video production for my Business Professionals of America event. The topic is tire safety (like monitoring tire pressure to prevent popping and an accident), which is kinda tough to do because it isn't a very urgent problem. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do, but I'll be sure to post it when I'm finished. I should be done around early January, as that's when the regionals competition is hosted.
And I would post episodes from the show, which we named
15 Minutes, but I edited it using Adobe Premiere Pro on a computer at the station so I don't have any saved on my computer. We were actually thinking about making it into a YouTube channel as well but summer came and we sort of just quit on it because there was nothing to report on.
