Drinking is not a problem. Too much is where it becomes a problem. He showed no consideration to others around him and took a stupid risk that ended his lives and those of his friends. But he also endangered people on the train, that could have been an even worse accident than it was.

Sure, but again, drinking and then driving, and then racing a train is 100% a choice, and an idiotic one at that. I can't even take you seriously with the quality of your posts. |

All I get is that it's unfortunate from a stupid choice. The fact that matter is that he's dead and if you look at this thread, you should respect the guy + the two others. It's not like the guy is Hitler(which is laughable @ Albus). The reason why these three died is DUI. It's doesn't matter if they died from a train because they may(no guarantee) die in any accident regardless because the dude is in DUI anyways. It's just unfortunate. RIP.

1) you twisted most of it into a situation to suit your accusations, had you looked at the OP you would have noticed that it easnt confirmed whether they were intoxicated. 2) how is it entirely his decision to drive himself? One of his friends could have offered to drive and ended up doing that. And they could easily be driving it when intoxicated, when your drunk your decisions get screwed up to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if he even let some random guy drive them.
Tell me, even from that standpoint, would you rather you were remembered as an imbecile who raced a train, or as a decent person with good opinions and tons of friends?

Even if they weren't intoxicated, it's all the more showing that their judgment was not impaired in the slightest, and they were okay with the decision to outrun the train.
Note the driver: "Those killed were vehicle driver Brian J. Rickard, 30, and passenger Ryan Lee Cook, 24, both of Terre Haute, and passenger Ashlee Taylor Pugh, 20, of Dennison, Ill., according to a news release from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department." There you have it. And work on your English. |

You're embarrassing yourself over a rather sensitive matter. Quit while you're ahead. |
