Innocent man burned to death after vigilantes branded him a paedophile
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/late...m-a-paedophile Saw this posted on reddit today, and it kinda shocked me, and made me sad. The guy took a couple pictures of kids that were vandalizing his property, as evidence to report to the police. Someone found out immediately made the assumption that he was a *********, and reported it to the police. However, this wasn't enough for a couple others. Rather than let law enforcement deal with the issue themselves, and do a proper investigation, they decided to brutally murder the man with no evidence to support that he did anything wrong. Later police found that "He had not taken any indecent images and that nothing of concern had been found on his computer." This just saddens me so much. A disabled man who just tried to live a quiet life with his cat and care for his garden, his primary interest, gets brutally murdered off of an assumption that he's a ********* simply because he takes a couple pictures of youths as evidence of vandalization. |

Thinking from both point of views can bring in an image of how they seen the situation. Me explaining the perspective from the two young adults is just to make you think. Just looking at one side doesn't solve anything. Obviously, they did do the wrong and murder him instead of contacting authorities. (Even though somebody else already had, murdering him wasn't necessary.) I agree with you that the family probably did think he was a ********* for sitting home everyday doing nothing. I really think the two young adults should've looked over the scene before engaging it |

If I was in their position I would have called the cops and kept my eye on the man until they got there, and I think most people would agree with me. There is no justification looking at this situation from any angle that makes what they did right. Even if he was a real ********* they are still murderers.
