Anything can spread easier in Africa in comparison to America. To make that statement, you also imply Africa's health plan/hospitals/ technology to fight a virus is on par with Americas. For example. People die of the common flu in Africa because they dont have up to date medical care. Whens the last time someone died in America due to the flu or cold? Its a ridiculous statement. |

No, But we constantly are shipping products back-and-forth from America to Africa. Vacations. Soldiers. Ebola doesn't show any signs for up to a week, which is enough time for someone shipping goods to Africa, coming back to America, interacting with people, and then a few days later shown to have Ebola. My point was, we don't actually ourselves know for sure it's only transmittable through bodily fluids. Whoever said that could've been trying to prevent a panic outbreak throughout the USA. So those people who were near that person shipping goods now has Ebola and won't realize it until the week after.

I think people are overreacting. Its only spreadable through bodily fluids (As in, semen, blood, spit, etc.), and they are monitoring all the people he came in contact with and no one has any sings of anything so far. The reason there was an outbreak in Africa was because uneducated people were breaking patients out of hospitals, outright not believing Ebola existed, and hiding infected people from officers. I'm pretty sure our system is far, far more advanced than theirs and we can easily keep this contained if we stay calm and level headed without going crazy with panic. Liberia stopped an outbreak and the 'patient zero' was in a far later stage than the one in Dallas. All 3 patients treated in US hospitals for Ebola up to this point are fine, cured, immune to this strain of Ebola and Ebola free. If anything, the media hyping all this up is just doing more harm than good and making a simple situation into some horrific frenzy. |

Ebola: dangerous My care: None Why? Because you're all too paranoid. The Ebola virus has a very low chance of "ending" or "killing off" an entire state. It's only contagious through bodily fluids such as urine, spit, blood, feces etc. The person with ebola that arrived on U.S soil must have done something to even gain ebola in other words making love with an ebola patient. Just keep your mouth's off others till this **** is over. |
