This is my beginner Guide for those just starting out on iZone. Im sure as time passes and updates arrive this will become outdated but I can always make another.
When you first start out you'll have a neat little tutorial giving you information on the HUD, read this and learn it well so you'll know how to operate the controls.
After becoming familiar with controls, select the rocket icon on the left side of your screen above your map and select Identify. Follow the directions to identify your device to prevent Account loss. Believe me I know how it feels "winks at jester"
Now what should you do with that 250 gralats? Well the answer is simple; save it! Your going to need it for a better weapon!
Now before you jump into the action guns blazing your going to need a better weapon, yea the beginner gun is decent but a slight upgrade can't hurt. To do this your going to need money.
When your start out I personally recommend doing missions. They yield you money and XP needed for leveling up.
While on missions be sure to watch out for crates containing ammo or health it is important to always make sure what ammo type your weapon uses wether it is Energy, Rifle, or Grenade ammo.
When fighting the AI don't be a hero running at the enemy bullets won't make you stronger. Play it safe and keep an eye on your HP.
Once you've earned 1k you can upgrade to a shiney new weapon. The two low cost weapons are the LR Rifle or the Metallic Rifle. Personally I prefer the Metallic, because it is only 1k that's 500 cheaper than the LR and they both do the same damage with the metallic having a spread to it for clobbering mobs of enemies.
Now that you've got a shiney new toy it's time to get serious. Look for a squad to join. This lets you do missions to make money faster or do pvp planets for money. I recommend doing missions and getting to level 6 so you can ride speeders on PvP planets but it's only a matter of opinion if you want to go kill someone by golly you go and do it.
In the end PvP on planets is the best way to make money, it not only yields money to the winning team but money for each kill you make. The higher the enemies streak the more mulah in your pocket.
Speeders are hard to get used to, but are a breeze when you do. The controls are simple Left to move up and left and right to move down and right. The key to steering is to hold the gas when using the controls. It's alot like trying to balance yourself but in this case your trying not to wreck into the wall.
This is my simple guide, by the time you've done all this you'll have learned most of what it takes to be a trooper. My last tip is to manage your money.
Do you need the cool hat or the better weapon? That again is your choice but think about it before making a purchase.
Thanks for reading my guide. I hope this can help new players. ~ Ventus
