I've addressed this problem on more than one occasion. I would love to be a saint, because I don't even pk much, at all, ever. But I'll never miss a Giant Blob. Sure, I could run in, hit the blob, then run out and just sit there, but that's not at all in the spirit of the Giant Blob, also, assuming you're late to the party, there's a good chance you're going to inadvertently kill someone in an attempt to strike the blob. I think AP should be disabled during the duration of a Giant Blob spawn. I know this probably can't and won't be done, but it should be. |

The activity promotes fighting over a prize. Allowing everyone to become invulnerable takes a lot of the fun out of it. Disabling AP changes doesn't make much sense to me considering it is a PK-oriented activity. There should be plenty of time for your AP to rise again shortly after the event, though!
