New James Bond movie, been out for almost a week now, in Britain at least.
Sorry to those that dont know it.
But those that do, what do you think about it?
Better than Skyfall?
How was Skyfall better?
Completely different to every other movie out of the 20 whatever many there are.
Spectre brought back the old traditional comedy that James Bond has always been about.
And is set in several locations, not just London and a old house called Skyfall.
Skyfall was a self-contained story where you don't need to have seen the last 3 movies to understand plot points. Spectre looked good (explosion visuals were great) but was too messy for me. It felt like the progression throughout the movie was superficial and just jumped from one location to the next continously. It was also very obvious that it was a 12A compared to other Bond movies; did you see anyone actually get hit by a bullet or die? It had all of the set pieces that a James Bond movie should have, but that's about it.
It just seemed way too cliche and predictable for me...
Spoiler
How he killed the bad guy just sucked ass so bad - every film the criminals decide to play with their food instead of putting a bullet through bonds head allowing him to conveniently escape and ruin their plans, again. At least with sky fall there was more depth to it than a huge explosion

When someone actually uses the spoiler tags for their intended purpose :o
