then there are people who come to the forums to occasionally talk trash for fun, like dark and sarah, who win 80% of GSTs (the only thing they play for) this thread seems to have suddenly become people who haven't won anything in the past 5 years: we are the best actually because we said so haha people who have won everything in the past 5 years: lol! *continues winning* i don't get it, you guys have created an alternate reality for yourselves i'm actually trying my hardest to understand it - so if people like david are bad and people like ares are good, why does david always win and ares never win (just using two examples from an earlier post)? like who is holding ares back? point them out because i'm confused, and if david is so awful then what is it that is apparently making up for how terrible he is and coincidentally helping him win 80% of the time he enters with a competitive team? someone please answer these for me, serious questions |

no incentive to play the game until: a. ngs future phases happen b. people make a team so good that they can actually make the better sparrers play for 3 months instead of 2 days

i've never even mentioned brett other than in this post:
it's you guys that are constantly throwing his name around like obsessed fanboys but again, your argument is literally this:
david is top 5 in GST wins, the majority of which came in the most competitive mixed era your counter-argument to that is apparently "david is bad XD" do you realize you actually have to have supporting evidence when you make statements i think this is why you guys are stuck losing every GST, you actually just can't identify when someone is good or bad even when the proof is right in front of you |

Lol a series is to 10 wins I beat Brett 3-2 I must be better then him now . Nah, the room was full of noobs and I’m positive Brett does not take David as serious as David takes him. Dude was probably sweating mad hard sparring him while Brett was just cooling lmao. The only people that idolize Brett or Ares is you and half of your guild lmfaoo don’t project yourself on others it’s not a good look.

calm down man, stop foaming at the mouth every time someone mentions my name enter a gst attempting to discredit someone's wins makes you look like a hyper emotional fanboy learn the difference between "your" and "you're" everything will be ok, I promise you've somehow managed to convince yourself that we're the ones idolizing them when you're the one saying things like "Brett was just coolin lmao 8)" you're weird, man |

there’s a fatal flaw where apparently winning the gst is the only thing that matters to whether someone is good or not, do we really have to break this down? gst itself - best of three tournament until finals, single elimination guildsparring in general - five players vs. five players if a great player enters on a team where at least one of the other four players performs poorly and causes them to lose in a best of three single elimination tournament which is inconsistent by nature, it becomes “LOL!!!! this guy is trash!!!!! cant win the gst lmao!!! why are you even typing here!!?!!?” like it’s entirely an individual effort or something. again, carnage just won the gst and, check the footage, definitely averaged less than 2 hits per round in the finals. but he won the gst because it isn’t an individual tournament. why are we pretending it is? then there’s the point that you’re judging somebody’s guildsparring ability entirely based on their team performance during one tournament every three months instead of their performance during hundreds of other guildspar matches every season. really ****ing stupid if you ask me. you have players hard stomping every single gs match before the gst who join a team that has no chance of winning and suddenly because they’re unable to win this tournament with bad teammates, carnage is a better player. |

now try rationalizing "even though x always wins he's bad, and even though y always loses he's good" because that's what i see in the past 2 pages |

And this isn't to give people like myself credit either cause I've typically done worse in gst compared to practice aside from my last 2 gsts. |
