Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the actual iPhone client have to be updated to be able to use the new colors?

A Custom Color. Like you know when you in Paint and click custom colors? Something like that whit all the different shadings

Why not make a HUD for colors? Such as a color wheel, pallet, and adjust? Sort of how Paint.NET works, or Photoshop even.

Stefan has added a whole bunch of new colors to Graal v6. iPhone runs using Graal v6, so I don't know why he hasn't released them on there yet. Maybe he is waiting until the PC version has them too

I think it's possible iOS clients can use custom colours but they aren't saved. They are seemingly in testing mode at the moment as only you can see the new colours and they seem to revert to black when you relogin.

He added all the standard HTML colour names (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp)

So soon hopefully
