There were a lot of states I really liked that I would have wanted to pick to be a part of the 9 winners, but the polls said otherwise. I wanted to try to add all the most favored ones, even though some of the ones that had a lot of votes didn't really appeal to me.

it seems the polls had some sort of influence on the results.

I'm not exactly mad because I waited until the last second that I'd have a chance to pixel, and I rushed it. If I put more effort into the state I probably could've placed, but I obviously wasn't dedicated as much as the winners.

lol its ok, i felt that there were a few that should've won. Even before me.  

An animated tank is not as creative as a shield with arrows, the logic is crazy lol  

I felt that Kendrick's was quite creative. Sure, it has a noob on it, but it reminded me of Doom a lot, and the heart pulse reader added a nice touch.

and then raeven got an honorable mention for a "low battery" design, end me

The difference is that you can't tell whether the tank is on half heart or not. Whether it's creativity or graphics, the fact still remains the player may not be able to easily distinguish it between either of the two.

Either way that basic shield with arrows is not something worth 3rd place, what others submitted was better in my opinion. Hell I think your gem was far better. Well I ain't buying Hadi's basic state anyways
