Graal doesn't have the capacity(at least script-wise) to tune out sounds. Most sounds are played from the ganis, and such the client itself decides to play the sound when the ganis are played. They're not generated via any sort of script, so I can't tell it NOT to play a sound. Trust me, I really, really hate the sound of the water splashing and actually took measures to make it a little less annoying(slowing the pace of it while swimming, turning its effect down a bit).

Would it be possible to mute all effects and then have the message sound be played 'double'...? Is there a trigger that a secondary message sound could be attached to? If that's totally ignorant or if I did not understand what you just said, my apologies! |

Also, the sound you get for notifications is horrible(it should not share a sound with any other in-game events as that defeats its purpose as being a clear notifcation), and if it hasn't been changed yet then it's likely not changed for some reason. Stefan is weird when it comes to certain things, and doesn't like them being changed. |
