I’ve only seen Yui n Kouji spar, both are solid but aren’t anything special. You aren’t the only one to overrate their friends. You see a lot of people praising ppl such as Den, but come gst the man is a lock to let his team down Who exactly is offensive? Yui will sit 15ft behind her teams wall, you (comet) won’t leave a corner while thinking of a new lag freeze excuse for when BobbyMermba is destroying you n Kouti isn’t offensive. US could use any combination of prehistoric pc sparrers or egotistic morons on ipod touches and a team such as 7ives (#4-0 undefeated) would still win with an easy 10-0 clap. Sucks it will never happen

nah dark is completely right i’m sure the whole US roster would shudder in fear at the prospect of fighting against (wonder) where carnage can drop 5 hits in 4 rounds and come out victorious, right now is the peak of gst competition and these overrated sparrers would stand no chance in their primes.

Yea 7ives would win at ease, followed by a handful of “we can’t hit them wtf” excuses –Opinion of the sole member of the 3/3 finals mvp club vs 40 year old US sub (?) lol David would do well; the rest would be running into our delay ‘old man aggro pc’ style. Would be a blood bath, with more time spent complaining than sparring |

Just because US got a streak of gst wins in the olden days this really doesn’t mean they can do the same now. Backthen I’m sure a very rare number of players knew how to spar properly so it’s not impressive for US to win gsts backthen. Another proof is the fact non of the old sparers with high ratio can get the same ratio in single spar now, not even close to it. US definitely has good members but i’m 100% sure if US is revived there is at least 2 teams from each idev and mixed gst who can beat them. Give it another few years and watch a whole different era where every round in gst including round 1 are going to be hard matches for all teams. Which means new players and teams are going to rise. |

A team of scar, commando, qes, yukomoon, , CPU would win in US era of gsing. that isnt a troll btw, US is highly overrated. To win consistently vs noobs and then fail vs good people once the pros started coming to classic isn,t impressive. That isnt to say US is only bad sparrers tho, guys like ares, brett shiden have dominated modern sparring eras. Obviously though most US people are above average at best, for example comet. Supposedly a “true offensive mastermind” who i’ve only ever seen C spar and backpedal behind his team. US wasnt a team of offensive juggernauts at all, was mainly comprised of people who in a modern era would run into your sword, be slaughtered and blame delay. The era was highly unskilled i can only imagine what people such as myself, brandon, convict, mount, danny, zion, exalt, prime etc would do to clowns like comet in their prime. I think brett, ares, shiden and maybe even crono could withstand our assaults though. Listed in red are the names in the current US roster that could dominate current spar. Circled in green are names that could do solid with vastly superior teammates and some luck. All uncircled names would either be zapped to shreds in a modern spar era or be mediocore/decent overall. Example being rygor who i consider solid, basically 1-2 notches above guys like vix and bel. Not listed is brett, but if we consider him US he would definitely be a red circle due to how good he is. |
