Thanks for the help everyone. The suggestion about referencing games is that.. I don't know what he plays. Even if I did, I have no idea HOW I could casually fit in a reference to that game. Great thing I have Smash Bros WiiU!!! |

This is an awesome opportunity to embrace the gamer within! It's okay to be a nerd about it! Being a "gamer girl" as well, I understand totally what you mean-- but the term "gamer girl" makes it sound so... girly and detached from just gaming itself. Gaming is a hobby, and, for me, gaming is just part of who I am. I've gamed since I was 5, and grew up with it-- like a lot of people have. So if its part of you, go with it. Be yourself around this guy; ask to play games together so you can bond more, and get to know him. Plus, he'll get to know you. And when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. MAKE LIFE TAKE THE LEMONS BACK. |
