Being Muslim myself I've heard my fair share of **** talking from others and the Boston Bombings don't help either. I've been wondering why is it that a lot of Americans hate Muslims but yet it's a crime when Muslims hate America? Don't get me wrong I'm proud to live in America and to be an American, I'm better off than a lot of other people in this world.

Anyways I kind of wanna get your guys' opinion on this. By the way here is a video of a bunch of good people standing up to an idiot named Terry Jones who burned the Holy Quran and preaches about the "evil" of Islam.

 

everybody hates fundemental and extremist muslims.

with that said, the stereotypical muslim reacts the worse of the three to global events and things of the sort. the reaction to the danish cartoons was priceless.  

My dad is the kind of "Obama is a ****ing terrorist Islam is working it's way into america and is gonna kill us all." kind of person. And pretty much all I can understand is:

911 = Muslims attacking america
Boston Marathon = Muslims attacking america
(My dad's exact words to me were "you know, I'm really not surprised that it was muslims who attacked the marathon, I can't see how you can possibly, at this point in time, say Islam is in anyway peaceful")

And like most middle age men raised in the south, that's all it takes to make the entire muslim population, democratic party, and middle east into a bunch of terrorists. And I'm not judging but a lot of islamic beliefs don't help, nor would the boston marathon. Tbh I think it's just intolerance and the way people are being raised, I mean people are literally brought up learning that Islam is bad, and y'know no one would lie to a child so it must be true.  

Couple points
1. what do you expect of white Americans?
2.most ******ed Americans hear muslims and they think Arabic which takes them to 9/11 (like if all arab people were part of the attacks)
3. most of America loves Muhammad Ali (Muslim)
4. every minority race in America has gone through some type of hatred in the usa

Liberal news networks have the same sort of crap. It isn't due to political view points; but instead it just is due to ignorance in post-9/11 society.  

I assume it is due mainly to steriotyping. People think of things like 9 11 and decide all Muslims are to blame.  

Extremists and terrorists that justify their acts with religion.
Its unfortunate that the rest of the Muslims suffer because of these people.
