Strong first episode, sure. Afterwards until the midway point was simple SoL fillers that didn't expand too much on the original concept. Afterwards in the midway point after the twist it started building up, right until the ending where it all came crumbling down, fast. The writing at the end was very poor and the show suffers, once again, to limited time to build on the world that they shoved in the last episode. If only they've learnt from their previous mishap with Angels Beat. Jun Maeda is a phenomenal creator, but needs more space than a single core to expand on his magnificent worlds. He either needs to get his show multiple cores like some of his better anime works, or focus solely on Visual Novels where he has an endless space of work, like how Clannad VN is longer than all of the Harry Potter Saga.
