Trap. The word you're looking for is trap.

Reverse trap would be a manly looking female.  

Seinen - Similar in aspects to Shonen, but it aims for a more maturer audience and tend to have more violence, sexuality and/or psychology then most Shonen series. Example:

No.. Kawaii is in the OP, look again. And "desu" is just "am, are, is, be" essentially.

This. "Desu/です" is just a polite copula. Doesn't really have any meaning of its own.  

Forgot hentai since yaoi and yuri are being brought up.  

"sumimasen" is the only word you'll need to know if you visit Japan.

"desu" means "is". If one said "kawaii-desu" they are saying "is cute". As the topic is normally implied when someone would say that, there is no need for inuWa (which means dog).
It's annoying, but is valid.

Talon was saying "desu" doesnt have a meaning, because there really is no literal translation. It can serve a large number of functions, most commonly (but not ONLY) conjugated helping verbs of "to be." To my understanding, theres a lot of stuff in Japanese that has no literal English meaning, because it serves more of a grammatical purpose.

"Desu" has no literal translation in English, but it's used in places where it links the subject and verb (much like "is", but is not equivalent to) among a lot of other places. "Is" is also a copula. That doesn't mean all copulas are literal equivalents of each other. It's usually omitted in casual speech anyway.
