hey, I'm about to reveal to you my deepest thoughts of the Alignment Point system, so i'd be pleased if you'd take yourself a second to at least vote on the Poll and maybe leave a comment with your opinion about it.
|
Sure!
well back to the topic
I used to like AP (Alignment Points). In fact, I loved it.
|
Nice!
But now I sat back a bit and thought a little bit about it and I really don't like it anymore,
|
Oh?
sure it has some good sides i think, but everything would be better without it to me
|
I'm interested to hear why, I guess.
I'll now tell you some advantages of the AP System.
|
Wait... you're going to support your case by giving me reasons to disagree with you? Okay!
When you have 100 AP, and you're not really that Pker type of person, other people will not be able to hit you with a sword. Good. but they can still hit you with arrows, bombs or horse. not really helpful then.
|
Oh well. If you're not much of a PKer then odds are you won't be walking around in a no-PK area.
I can't tell you more. advantages, please tell me in the comments below if there are.
|
Wait a sec... you said advantage
s with an s. I want to hear more!
now we're at the disadvantages
|
Oh darn.
No healing? No sense.. to me
|
...To you
People can no longer heal if they have below 20 AP (not sure, haven't tested)
|
Are you sure about the rest of the post?
Why? to make it fair for those who are not that good at PK? how is that fair to those who are?
|
That's not the point of it.
and why are pro sparrers with a rating of 7000+ still able to spar people with a rating of 5000+ then? makes no sense to me.
|
Not sure what this has to do with it, but okay.
if you want fairness then really do fairness.
|
Touché
Saints(people with 100 AP)
People could just make an organized group/guild of many people being saints.
those rush the flagroom and place all around the flag and start to hit, only then they'd be able to get damage by sword which is most likeley already too late.
|
But they would inadvertently hit somebody and lose their AP immediately. As you pointed out, it's hard to get that high of AP, so the odds of a towering guild suddenly all getting 100 AP and storming a tower are rare anyways.
they could do this to your fort! right now!
|
I don't have a fort so I don't think this is possible.
No.
Friend Indicators
those are really annoying and for some people hard to see.
|
May I suggest reading glasses?
Spar
when you spar with 100 AP you'll first think: "yeahh! cool i'm not losing AP".
|
I have never thought this in my life.
But then, when you're not paying attention to it and are no more worried about losing AP.. BOOM. that's where you'll lose your AP.
|
Okay?
If you have more disatvantages, please comment below.
|
You seem to have hit them all.
Summary
Why can't we just get back our usual Name Tag colors and Delete this - to me - awful system?
|
Because we're players who are unable to delete systems.
it's nothing but (excuse my language here) a pain in the ass to most of the Players.
|
Care to provide your source?
I mean Red Name for Guild, Purple for Ally, lightblue for random Player, Darkblue for a friend and a Gold Tag for a Staff is much more clearly than some wiggeling arrows that Jump above players head.
|
While this is true, the arrows are still adequate and the pros out-way the cons.
It looks like those are killer Arrows poking our heads till we die.
|
Ah, yes. This is the last proof we need to remove the system.
Can we just have the old Names back?
|
Nope.
and forget about the AP System?
|
Definitely not.
What.
Ooo.
when we are rid of these Alignment Points everyone, believe it or not,
|
Having a hard time believing.
is going to be much more wanting to go out
|
You mean like 'GF ME PLS'?
I'm glad I have your promise.
