Okay, so I saw a thread by someone else showing a mathematical problem, so it inspired me to do this. Now, I love Maths, and I feel like being generous with my rep points, so the first person to find a solution to this will get repped because this is pretty advanced stuff.

Find the total amount of possible values for X when:

3^(2x) - 2(3^(x+2)) + 32 = 0

(The '^' means "to the power of")  

man thats some hard stuff right there xD my brain cant consume it all xP

It shouldn't.
If you know the rules of logs and how to apply them, you can rearrange the equation so that it's written in logs.  

PHP Code:

log3^(0) - 2 * log3^(0+2) + 32 = x 


Number after log is the lower one and after the ^ is the higher one.

Jea I also just realized there is something wrong... but what? xD

Just realized that

Already thought of that... Oh wait I think I got a way, let me test it.
