Well I was going to just have progress posts be in this thread because i wasn't sure why there were always 2 threads for the Christmas submissions...but if you all want a progress thread I'll make one! Edit: Progress thread made! I've updated the rules (rule #11) on this thread and added a link to the progress thread. From this post on, all other posts should be questions and comments only and all progress posts should be put in the progress thread linked below. https://www.graalians.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40975 |

[QUOTE=Faz;819895]I noticed that some mounts recently have been so big they manage to stick out of their canvas.... I kinda want to make the mount big as well for the contest, but the problem is the normal horse template is obviously too small... how can I make it as big as the mounts above without it sticking out of the template?[/QUOTEh I honestly don’t think it matters |

When using the bigger template, keep in mind the shadow will still be in the same spot (around the horse's feet). You'd don't *have* to use all of the template space, in fact I'd say try not to fill it all up. The extra space is just there for parts that would usually be too big for the original template like maybe a tail or wings or long ears (like the rabbit). You want to still try and keep the proportions the same as the horse in the template if you can help it or it the mount might look wonky in-game. At the very least, keep the feet of whatever mount you make in the same spot as the feet of the horse. It can go a little lower, but don't overdo it. |

also just a reminder because some people aren't doing their email subject right... Title your emailed submissions as "Halloween Submission"!!! if you don't title your email correctly we won't receive the submission! I've been emailing everyone back who properly sent their submission saying that we've received it. If you have't gotten that confirmation email then we haven't properly received the submission and won't have anything you sent possibly approved. Please title your email correctly.
